Good voice recorder Top shelf recorder. Pricey but worth it if you have the use. The software included is very good also with excellent quality compression formats. Mic is awesome. I have used this for two years recording meetings from across crowded rooms as well as direct narratives. Always provides good quality voice recordings.
Good recorder Obsolete software This recorder has good sound quality. However it comes with version 7 of Dragon Naturally Speaking instead of version 8 which has been on sale for over a year now. The new version is much more accurate the old version produces a lot more errors and correcting them is tedious and timeconsuming. I would wait until Sony starts packaging the unit with the current software.
Junk Piece I purchased this item 2 years back. I have not used it much.ProsGood sound quality and usability.ConsThe piece cannot be opened up. There are no screws etc.After a fall the battery lid is troublesome to say the least. It refusesto close the lid.Given the amount spent and sony brand I had hardly expected thistroublesome gadget.
